Our Save the Date Picture Fridge Magnet

Hey friends! I started doing our Save the Date Photo Magnets the other night. I was able to make 15 photomagnets in one sitting and I'm planning to save the rest for Jay when he comes here next week. Haha!

In this project, I used:

1. Magnetic Sheet (photo in the upper left below) - you can find this at Daiso. This costs 2 SGD per sheet.

2. Scissors (upper right)

3. Paper cutter  (lower left)- you can buy this at any school supply shops like the POPular bookstore from 19 SGD and above.

4. Glossy Photo Sticker (lower right) - you can avail this item from POPular bookstore or any office and school supply store. This will cost you around 17 SGD for 20 sheets

5. Printer

Magnetic sheet, Scissors, Paper Cutter and Glossy Photo Paper/Sticker

1. Using MS Word Software, layout the Save the Date Design according the the size you want. In my case I used 10 cm x 6 cm. With this size, an A4 size paper can contain up to 8 images.

2. Using the cutter, cut the sticker and the magnetic sheet. For my design, 1 magnetic sheet can produce 5 smaller sheets.

3.Peel off the sticker and magnetic sheet and carefully adhere them.

4. Use the scissors to trim the photo magnet to the desired shape. Then you're done! ^_^

Save the Date Cards

As I am getting more comfortable 'working' with photoshop, I was inspired to do our Save the Date cards tonight. I purposely created 2 STD cards - a 'jay-like' and a 'kate-like'. See, I always do things fairly, who said I'm not being reasonable? Tee hee!  Anyway we'll be sending these via e-mail and facebook but I'll also be doing some Save the Date photo magnets.

Jay's Birthday

This is his last birthday in singlehood. In 6 months we're getting married, yehey! Btw, I'm 5 days older than him. Nuf said.

3 pm and still in a sleeping attire. Haha! :)

With Rzeznik, Jay's nephew..Do we make good parents? :D

 A cake from Red Ribbon

Cake, Empanada and Pancit Palabok ordered from Red Ribbon plus Ate Kaye's delish baked mac

Engagement Shoot with RF

It's already 6 days after the shoot and I'm still on a cloud nine. :)

Couldn't help but be grateful to all the people who worked with us behind the camera:

1. To tita Grace and Tita Lyn, for helping me find the right dress/gown, shoes and shirts.

2. To Jay's family: To Ate Kaye for the tips and for helping me prepare the clothes and accessories (with ate Raech), to Jay's mom and dad for helping us book the venue and for the last minute car-hunting, and to ate Raech who was with us during the shoot **naging alalay ko, dyahe..**

3. To Ted, Jay's friend, who became our runner and water boy. Hehe..

4, To Tin and her assistant, Rachelle, for making me beautiful during the event. Side Story: I cried over the THOR movie a night before the shoot. Jay, on my birthday had promised to take me out on a dinner and movie (Thor) date when I get back to Philippines. We really had a tight schedule, but I was still expecting and looking forward for that 'date' but he instead bought a Fast Five movie ticket. I was disappointed because everybody was talking about Thor and I felt I am 'out' because I don't have anything to share :( so I was really looking forward to watching it, and it will be even more special because I will see the movie with him..but..**sighs** So I cried..haha! Anyway he tried to make up after the pictorial but we needed to wait about 2 hours for the next showing. I was already tired then so I suggested after getting myself gratified at timezone's coin dozer that we just go home. Anyway he gave me a foot massage until I fall to sleep.. sweet!
 ^^

Okay let's go back, haha! My eyes was really puffy when I woke up and I wanted to cry again because I was sure that I won't look good in the photos but Tin was able to make magic and make eye bags disappear. I really love my look! And I love her! She was really a heaven sent! =) She even stayed for about an hour during the pictorial and did some retouch on my makeup.

5. To kuya Ed, RF's assistant/lightman..contrary to RF, I never heard kuya Ed's voice..hehehe..

6. To the expert himself, Atty. Raymond Fortun. He really made us comfortable during the shoot. His energy is infectious. He was also so humble and very down-to-earth,  notwithstanding his profile. He has to shoot under the scorching heat of the sun but I never heard any complaint or grumblings from him. He also has a lot of brilliant ideas, resulting to great outputs. Thank you soooo much attorney, I so love all the photos! =)

7. To the Lord, for giving us the strength and endurance, for blessing us with such great team and for ironing out the last minute glitches. It wouldn't have been successful without Him. ALL THE GLORY BELONG TO HIM! :)

Monograms from Sis Cathy

Weeks before I decided to learn photoshop, there was a w@wie, Sis Cathy, who offered free monograms to w@wies who will send her a PM and I've been blessed to be one of them. (Yes, I got them for free!!) She sent me the monograms last May 3 (sorry for the delayed post) and until now I'm still full of beans whenever I take glance at them. As I have expected, her work is way better than mine. Hihi..thank you sooo much sis Cathy for sharing your talent! God bless you more! =)

Monograms for My Co-W@Wies Batch 2

Howdy friends! =)
Too many errands were piled up in my plate recently (told ya, May is a busy/eventful month for me) which grounded me from updating our wedsite. Hayyy I missed blogging... and I missed you too! =)

Anyway I was able to create monograms for my 3 co-wawies after getting back from my 4-day wedding preparation in Philippines. I hope they will like them. :)

JAYPEE ♥ JAKI

Sis Jaki and I are neighbors - we're just a block apart but we only realized this when we had an email conversation last night. We agreed to do some DIYs together some time. I'm sure it'll be fun! *excited mode*

Motif: Orange and Mint Green
Theme: She just wanted to see feathers in her monogram =)

JAKE ♥ BOO

Surprisingly, I did sis Boo's monograms faster than I thought. I craved for some chocolates the time I was doing these monos. Good thing there was still a leftover Dreyer's ice cream (rocky road flavor) in the fridge. Nomnomnomnom...hmmmmmm..some more chocolate ice cream pleaaaaaaase!

Motif: Matte Gold, Taupe, Champagne
Theme: Vintage

DJ ♥ CHLOE

Sis Chloe granted me the liberty to play with her monograms, as she still has no theme in mind.
I hope she likes it *crossing fingers*

Motif: Dark Violet and Silver grey
